A Deposit is required to book your tattoo appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to new date once booked.
This ensures your artist can commit the necessary time solely for your tattoo design. The minimum deposit required is $50 which comes off your tattoo total the day of your appointment and increases based on the size of the work requested.
If circumstances outside of the shop's control occur that prevents the client from having services rendered (namely work schedule change, abuse of staff, lack of childcare or where children are brought to appointment, poor client hygiene etc.) or where designs have been completed based on the client's specifications and full design change is then requested; YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE RETAINED BY FLESH TATTOOS and new deposit will be required to re-book.
New deposit is required to re-book should you become unable to attend your appointment. Last-minute cancelation may result in our staff discontinuing the working relationship with our studio going forward. Emergency situations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Should you need to cancel based on emergency you will be able to roll your deposit over to a new date once. And deposit must be used within that same calendar year for rescheduling to be valid.
These policies are in place to ensure the client has committed to their appointment date and has made appropriate arrangements with their work, childcare etc.

You have the opportunity to have One free touch up within 3 months from the date of your tattoo, provided you applied appropriate aftercare as directed by your artist.
You are healed enough to receive re-touching after 3 weeks post tattoo application.
The client is responsible for booking their touch-up in a timely manner.
Our artists do get booked up quickly and it is up to the client to ensure their touch-up is booked with enough time to plan ahead. Flesh Tattoos will not be held responsible in circumstances where we are too booked to accommodate a touch-up appointment due to poor planning on clients end or where client has forgotten and the 3 month time period has past. If you have booked your touch-up appointment and then become unable to attend your appointment, touch up service will be a paid service when rebooked. Please ensure you are available for the date you choose.
Damage to the tattoo due to negligence, vacations, swimming, picking etc. is evident to your artist and will result in touch ups being done at the clients own cost. We do not book Touch-up appointments on Saturdays due to high volume of request for bookings on this day of the week.
** Hand & Finger Tattoos are not guaranteed due to unpredictable healed outcomes. All retouching needed for hand & finger tattoos is done at the clients own cost.
Promotions posted for a specific date or timeframe are only valid within those conditions. Promo pricing for these events cannot be rolled over to another appointment should you become unable to attend. Our typical deposit rules apply.
The new client, loyalty and flesh money discounts cannot be used in conjunction with another promotion and are one time use only. These incentives are only applicable to a regular appointment booking and corresponding cost. You are responsible for notifying our scheduling coordinator of your intention to use a promotion available to you at the time of booking. For the loyalty rewards promotion, you must show the text to you artist at your appointment in order to access the savings.
All tattoo Gift Certificates are valid for One year from the date of purchase. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Once the one year expiry date passes, the tattoo amount purchased is void.
It is the clients responsibility to be in touch to schedule tattoo appointment and give enough notice as we have a wait time for appointments. Flesh Tattoos will not be held responsible if we are too booked to accommodate tattoo appointment.
Please Note: if you have a specific artist you would like to purchase for, you must make that known at the time of purchase.
** No deposit is taken on pre-paid gift certificate tattoo appointments to reserve spot as is our traditional policy. Unless tattoo is large scale and/ or requires more than one session. Then traditional deposit applies. If appointment cancelation occurs, all, or a portion of the gift certificate value becomes void and is retained by the artist. Please keep this in mind when booking your appointment to ensure you are available for the date/time scheduled.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO BE TATTOOED.
Canadian contract law dictates one of the 6 elements to create a legally binding contract is capacity. By law a minor (under the age of 18 for Ontario) cannot legally enter into a binding and enforceable contract as a minor. For the purpose of tattooing whereby a consent waiver (contract) must be signed prior to receiving tattoo services, a minor (person under the age of 18) cannot legally provide consent with acceptance and full capacity to the extent that it be legally binding. As such tattoo services cannot be legally rendered. A minor as dictated under the Age of Majority and Accountability Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. A.7
** We do NOT accept parental signature to consent for Minor to be tattooed.
All clients MUST be 18+ with government issued I.D. This is a no contest, without exception policy.
The designs/ artwork/ other elements created by our staff for the purpose of your tattoo, become property of Flesh Tattoos. In entirety, as intellectual and tangible property of the artist. Not to be used by another artist for purpose of Tattooing.
YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR ARTIST OF YOUR NEED TO HAVE A SERVICE ANIMAL ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH YOU AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.
Failure to do so may result in need for rebooking and loss of deposit therein. Appointments where service animal will be present are booked for the end of the day which enables our staff to perform the required sterilization of the area to prevent fur and dander from becoming a cross contamination issue within the studio. This scheduling also reduces interaction of other patrons who may be allergic or fearful, from coming into contact with the animal while service provision takes place.
Support animals are permitted within personal services settings as per Regulation 136/18.
9. (1) Every operator of a personal service setting shall ensure that the personal service setting is kept free from animals, including birds, aquatic species and reptiles.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to,
(a) service animals described in subsection 80.45 (4) of Ontario Regulation 191/11 (Itegrated Accessibility Standards) made under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.
At Flesh we don't accept Haggling or price Bargaining, Attitudes, Rudeness or Abuse of staff.
We do not serve anyone under the influence of Drug or Alcohol use.
Children are not permitted within the studio unless attending for piercing service and must be accompanied by a parent.

E.G. based on no show, inappropriate behavior, cancellation circumstance, lack of personal hygiene or any individual circumstance where the staff feels there is risk to client(s) and/or staff. WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY RELATING TO THREATS, VIOLENCE OR ABUSE OF OUR STAFF.
